Great clear shot. You must have been ready with your camera. Do they rescue people as well as guard the coast? Our SES rescue helicopter crew just received bravery awards for rescuing people from roofs and trees during the flood and as the light was fading. But they were crying because they couldn't rescue everybody.
great shot ! We frequently have the emergancy chopper fly over head as they are stationed not to far from us ! Ours is an Orange chopper ! Have a wonderful day !
nice shot Denise Hope they were on excersise rather than a rescue. Ross was painting his beach Kiosk and had a helicopter on beach Patrol Come over the cliff over his KIOSK AND COVERthe wet paint in sand, He couldnt be cross because one day it might be him or the grandkids that they are rescuing.
Born English but have lived in America for almost 36 years, now proudly a US Citizen but as the old saying goes and as Gregg occasionally tells me, you can take the girl out of England but you can never take England out of the girl.

Very nice shot. I never seem to be able to photograph anything that flies... always too late with the camera.
Great picture! I haven't been over to Virginia Beach in about 3 years or so. I think I'm due for a trip.
Thanks for all they do.

Neat! I'm always impressed with the rescue helicopter folks.
This is so strange. I can't believe I missed so many of your posts. I'm having fun catching up though.
