Back home again

Hello everyone, we're back from the beach. We had a lovely time and I will tell you more when I can put my thoughts together. I'm a bit tired after all the activity but it is always marvelous to get together at these reunions, and Rose said she had the time of her life. She is a wonderful lady who knows no strangers, and as Gregg and I watched her all over the weekend interacting with everyone, we said what a beautiful lady, in that she is beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside.

Gregg has just gone into work and a little later on Rose and I will be going out again, depending on how our energy level is. I have a feeling we will be easing into the day very gently. The first thing we did when we got home was put the kettle on and had several cups of tea. Gregg eventually had to go to bed because of his early morning start, but Rose and I stayed up late and talked about our weekend.

Hi Denise, I am glad you had a great time at the re-union and with your friend Rose. I also have some shots of the Sanderlings, they are such cute birds to watch. I hope you have a great day!

Always nice to return home, but that beach sounds real nice.

With our heatwave I really could have done with a sandy beach to bury my toes in. Glad you had a good time.

Hi Denise, Glad you had a great time at the beach. Can't wait to see more photos... BUT-as with all vacations, you need a 'vacation' to get over the vacation... ha...

Get some rest!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Our weather has gone mad recently, extreme high record breaking temperatures. The beach's have been packed with people. I prefer to stay away when they are that busy.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time. I love talking about adventures after they happen. Somehow more of the details come to light and the experience begins it's life as a story to be told. Welcome home

Ah, beaches and sanderlings almost seem synonymous! I'm glad you had so much fun!

Sorry to miss you Denise when you were recently back in what used to be "my area of the world!" I had thought we might one day get to meet, but as you can see by my posts, I have been enjoying a quite different ocean these days! :-) And, even more recently NO OCEAN AT ALL! Glad you had a wonderful time!
