Buckeye Butterfly

Revisiting the Buckeye Butterfly that I found on our walk at Mason Neck. I didn't realize until I had gotten home and looked at the photos on the computer screen, that I had also caught the small wasp-like critter in the same frame.

  8. I have one as a screen saver. Blow the photo up and they have lots of fur on their body and a fringe all around their wings.

    I am hoping that I will still see more butterflies ...our temp's are about to drop tonight..our highs today are what the lows at night have been : { 60's !!

  21. I have the worst time catching butterflies with my camera. They never sit still for me. They must like you. Even the wasp likes you.
