This is the newest member of our family. I would like to introduce you to Elle Marie, named after her maternal great grandmother and is the daughter of our niece and nephew. She arrived yesterday weighing in at 8 lbs. 10 ozs. Mother and Elle are doing great. Congratulations Danielle and Chris, what a beautiful, beautiful daughter you have. And thank you Danielle for letting me share her photo here today. Welcome to the World Elle Marie!

I love that name, "Marie." My daughter is "Maria." There are many songs, titled, Maria. Ave Maria is one of them, and there are others in West Side Story and The Sound of Music.

Oh, congratulations, Denise! It is always so exciting when new life joins the family. My very best wishes to Elle Marie and her proud and happy family. Also, it is wonderful that she will have a great deal of fascinating history and firm roots to look back on. Your earlier post is intriguing. Your dad and mom sound awesome. Your dad being a detective in England makes me think of all the Agatha Christie stories that I love so much. :)
