A request for postcards

I have a special request to help one of our family. Ken's library is doing a kid's program about world geography and they need postcards from here in the States and from all around the World. Would you be willing to send a postcard from your area, maybe write a little about your city/culture? It doesn't have to be in English. To see various languages from around the Globe not only would be very educational but fun for them to see and to translate. I'm sure they will also get a lot of enjoyment out of the stamps. They will be shared with children to teach them about world geography and different cultures. Ken needs them before June 16th. If you can help out that would be great and thank you so much in advance.

  4. I'll have to see if I can find a post card showing something from our little town and mail it down to them. Yes, Denise, I am still alive and kicking, just not kicking as high as I use to. LOL Seems I'm busy all the time and don't have much time on the blogs anymore. I do check out Facebook every day. Hope all is well with you, hubby and the newlyweds.

  8. I used to have so many postcards when I was in Illinois. Siighh... I wish I still had them to send. They were vintage. I'll get myself over to the store and find a postcard. I hope there's a nice one. This is so much fun!

  10. Great idea. I've sorted out some from my area. Will send them as soon as possible. Actually I think I'll put them in an envelope - the time postcards take to get to their destination is appalling.
