Hi Denise, Gigi's photos is sweet. We have pair that nest on a window sill over our front door. One of them showed up yesterday to check it out for nesting for this year. This morning we had about 8 inches of fresh snow, drat! The doves won't be nesting here yet.
Aaah that is so sweet! Sadly mourning doves have the IQ of a flower pot, and do not sense danger...I hope your sister-in-law can keep them safe. Jane x
That is so cute! There is no limit to where a bird will build a nest! We had one silly bird try to build in our porch light, every day we would tear it out and the next day, there it was again!
This photo is so sweet. The flower pot made a really good nesting place. The oddest nest I have come across was built by a robin,in one of Johns gardening boots, which he kept in the shed.

Well that's one plant that's going to have to survive without watering for a week or two.
Just sweet! Thanks for sharing!

Oh so cute. I do love those morning doves.
Dove just seem to nest wherever they please without asking.
My parents had a duck on their balcony one year.
Lovely. I wish they were here so I could watch them develop.
I just love this, so cute. I had a Dove nest in our pine tree and I looked up an only seen twigs and I could see her through it.
Well sure, it's cozy, well placed, and protected. Good choice on her part. Should be fun to watch them.
Good to see that they got adapted to that pot.
Brilliant photo & so lucky to be nesting so close!
I have seen this happen before! So cute!
Aw, cute. They look very snug in there.
How sweet. Mother birds with their chicks are so protective. She seems to be pretty cool, calm and collected.
