We call them faerie. We don't believe in them. Our loss.
~Charles de Lint~

And as the seasons come and go,
Here's something you might like to know.
There are fairies everywhere;

Under bushes, in the air,
Playing games just like you play
Singing through their busy day.

So listen, touch and look around,
In the air and on the ground.
And if you watch all nature's things,
You might just see a fairy's wing.

How adorable! I think our fairies are snowbound!

This is so whimsical and sweet, Denise. You must be in a happy mood, despite the snow.
Loved this, Denise. It would be nice to know who wrote that poem.
Sweet faeries (I like that spelling)
I never see any in my garden. It is a coincidence that I read about fairies on Jennyfreckles blog a few days ago. It was about two girls who photographed fairies in their garden. They became known as the Cottingley fairies. Here is the link: http://saltairedailyphoto.blogspot.com/2011/01/cottingley-fairies.html
Denise, very cute. Love the poem and reminds me of the summer days coming soon. Have a great weekend.
I agree with Sunny, ours are hibernating as well!!

Sooo cute! I just want so much to believe that they are real!
I like a little whimsy in a garden.
I think our fairies are wearing tiny little white snowsuits, so that they are disguised, and can fly around with the snowflakes unseen!

Lovely verse and I like your little figures.
Believe it or not, the older of my two brothers made a spot in his yard called the Fairy Garden, and his Grandson's thought it was magical. He also made a little door by the garage walk through door and another little door by their front door to their house and made it look like a doorway to a fairies home. If you didn't look down, you missed it. He use to have a spot on the web that showed this. I'll see if he still has it up. Really cute. But now the boys are older and they no longer believe in Fairy's.
Cute fairies; reminds me of Bob and my visit to Mt. Gretna, PA last year. We walked through a fairy park.
Just lovely, both poem and pictures!
I love fairies and these are so cute. They look enchanted on the tree.
I enjoyed the fairy pictures, very cute.
