I thought you might enjoy some postcards from
San Diego. I have always enjoyed sending them to family and friends whenever on holiday, a tradition I remember my family had when I was a little girl. My Mum always found some time for us girls to sit down and write to our grandmothers, even on a day trip to
Aberystwyth in Wales, where the highlight for us was to be able to have donkey rides on the beach.
I have continued the tradition and not only enjoy sending postcards but also collecting them. I picked these up on our last vacation in September 2010.

We live about 155 miles north of San Diego. I do have friends who live down there, but we have not been down there for over 40 years. I love the lighthouse postcards.

I have driven many miles just to get some.I have a large collection and two friends who also collect them so when I see them, I get a lot. They are fun to recieve, many people have given that up.

I don't know how many postcards i have. They are so many. I have postcards from all the places i've been with my hubby and family all these years and from the trips i had with school as a student.I even have some postcards from the trips my father had when he was at the army.
Very nice postcards, I love old lighthouses. A friend of ours many years ago lived and managed a lighthouse. I have some very old ones that I have collected over the years. Thank you for coming by, have a nice week, we are very cold here.

Fun postcards, Denise AND I just love your header photo.
I don't send postcards any more but I do pick them up from time to time. Basically they are better photographs from better vantage points than what I can do myself.

We take day trips to Aberystwyth too. Sometimes we'll head on down to Aberaeron or across to Borth & Machynlleth while we're at it.
