It's been ages since I went out and took any wildlife photos, so much so that I decided to share some of my old favorite shots from way back. You may remember seeing some of these and if you do, hopefully you will enjoy them the second time around.

Brilliant ! I loved the mother duck with her ducklings-adorable !
A real nice assortment, I must say! No, I hadn't seen them before, Thanks!
Very nice, you should tag along with me someday. It is fun to compare.
The Duck family are just great Denise.
I am amazed you managed to get such clear shots of these wee animals.
These are all lovely Denise! The first is so majestic! The last one is a picture postcard!
I love the duck with the babies - that would make a cute header too.
Great shots! Love the mama and her babies.
What a wonderful assortment. I love the mama and babies, and the ravishingly beautiful blue birds at the bottom. Thank you for sharing them!
I can't remember seeing these pictures before. Loved them all, especially momma and her babies.
These are some great ones! Loved the birds flying in front of the Capitol building.
Great variety of photos. I like the first one the best with the mama and her babies following her.
All excellent pictures, especially the one of Mom and her little family marching behind her. I like your header picture as well.
They are all lovely critters, but the family shot touched my heart, it's so gorgeous!
Hugs and a nice weekend for you!

Denise, I can see why they are your favorites. The duck and baby shot is just adorable. I do not remember seeing them all so thanks for sharing them again.
Gorgeous!

Wow - each photo is a masterpiece with the first one as your crowning glory.
That second shot would make a wonderful banner photo...but I enjoyed all of them.
I think I'm loosing it Denise, I was sure I'd left a comment here earlier. Anyway, great bird picture. The blogosphere has definately brought ornithology to my desk here at work.
Great shots - all. Loved the mother duck with her brood.
I don't remember seeing any of these, but even if I had, they are worth seeing again!! Beautiful and inspirational shots!!
Gorgeous pictures, Denise. I always love seeing 'favorites'--even if I have seen them before. Wish I knew all of the names of your birds...
Hugs,
Betsy
I just love that Make Way for Ducklings photo. It's so adorable. Gosh! I haven't seen ducks in such a long time. Beautiful photos, Denise.
They're all beautifully captured! I like each of them.
All your images are special but I really liked the Hawk!
The bird on my blog is a White-Throated Sparrow. They do look very similar to a Chipping Sparrows.
Hi Denise, This is my first time visit after you left a comment on our blog when you visited recently (thefrogandpenguinn.blogspot.com). I had a wonderful time reading about how you and Gregg met. Your interests very much profile my own - photography, spending time alone or with friends and meeting others. And, we are both living in Virginia as transplants of a sort. "Grenville" and I relocated to the VA eastern shore from NJ. I think you may be living in the "other" part of the state, perhaps closer to DC. Please stop in again anytime for a visit and I plan to do the same!
I love all of the wild life photographs. The last one is so sweet with the couple. Great shots!
Awesome pictures Denise, some of these I have seen but not all.
The Duck and her ducklings are just precious, also the blue birds.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Hugs,
~jo

Thanks for visiting me, Denise, and your kind comments. I'm really not in the mood for blogging at the moment but visiting you and seeing your wonderful birds has really lifted my spirits. It's comforting to look at beauty when there is so much sadness and destruction closer to home.
ah these are so great, Denise! I love 'em all but I think the black and white and the duck family by the fence are my favorite. Great series!
A lovely collection of wildlife. I love mother duck and the babies.
What wonderful pictures, each a delight to behold. You do take such good pictures.
