Ducks

I found this wonderful poem "Ducks" by F. W. Harvey here. It is a long one but is well worth the read, and the site has a collection of many other lovely poems.

Added note: I discovered another post about ducks where I had used this poem, recommended to me by Janice at Jabblog. Apparently my 'rememberer' doesn't go back very far!

The author certainly had time to study ducks and contemplate.

Ducks seem to have all the fun. I like to watch them and listen to them in the water. I also like geese.

I have always found watching ducks, and deer for that matter to be very calming....love those gentle creatures.
