SkyWatch Friday

We were in Baltimore this past weekend and this is the view from our hotel window. The clock tower is called The Emerson-Bromo-Seltzer Tower and is on the National Register for Historic Places. It was modeled after the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence and was completed in 1911.

You can learn more about it here.

This building was directly across the street from our hotel. A rather wintry reflection from the setting sun can be seen in the windows.

  2. Neat clock tower, I have not seen that in my trips there. I'll have to look next time. A very winter sky - so early this year.
