I almost ran off the road watching a group fly in a swirl pattern to get at a higher altitude and travel. Hundreds pass through, headed for the gulf and warmer spots. Many do stay on a short stretch of river that stays open most of the year.
Denise,That second shot is magnificent, I loved the perspective! These critters are adorable, wonderful pictures!Hugs and a nice weekend,Léia
They stay on the continent and I miss their voices sometimesAloha from Waikiki Comfort Spiral><}}(°><°)}}><
That is stunning. To capture a seagull in flight is sheer beauty. I have yet to capture one in flight despite my constant attempts. I love your photos
I spent the first year of my life on Virginia Beach and have had salt water in my veins ever since!! I can't be away from the ocean for very long at one time. Great shots! ~karen
Me like, your photo! I love the seagulls sitting there, as they are waiting for something.. :)
I have always liked seeing a seagull sitting on a post. Nice picture of the one in flight!
Funny how they love to congregate. Love the photo of the flying bird in the first one, and the group of them sitting on the dock in the last one.
Poor me, I've never seen sea gulls with my own eyes...Amazing, Denise :)
Wonderful pictures! I love the 'group' picture. I miss seeing the seagulls since I moved from the ocean.Have a great weekend.☼ Sunny
Wow what a gathering of gulls! I love how you've captured the gull in flight!
I love how they are all just standing around watching in the same direction.
Beautiful shots. I love the action of the first one. - Margy
Awesome shots of the seagulls, Denise. I love the shots on the post, it must be a favorite spot for them to perch.
Nice series of shots. I like how they took over the pier on the last one.
I love how the birds are all facing the same way. I also really got a charge of how the sun appears to be melting down the horizon. Beautiful header!
Safety in numbers! I like the second shot of the 'path to the sea' - lovely composition :-)
Very nice picture, reminds me of our docks down town, where they love to hang out.
