I love the lilt this poem has. I remember learning it in Primary School but I thought Robert Louis Stevenson wrote it.(I'm losing it)

A lovely poem, even if it is rather lonely. The blue sky and mast is a great back drop.

This is a beautiful poem. We happen to have a friend that this fits perfectly to.

It's a very evocative poem, full of yearning.

Great poem. My Dad was in the Navy, not by choice, he got drafted during WWII. Have a great week-end, it's just around the corner.

Beautiful poem, Denise... My Daddy was in the Navy many many moons ago... He died in 1969--and I still miss him so much.

Hugs,
Betsy
