All my sky photos this week I took on a recent trip to the San Diego Zoo. If you look at the photo above, you will see a small deer standing on the rock in the bottom of the photo, towards the right. The elephant topiary was one of a pair at the entrance of the zoo.
Here I was taking the sky ride back which I knew would take me back to the exit at the end of the day.

I love the San Diego Zoo, too. Have you visited their website? www.sandiegozoo.org
They have a Panda Cam, and an Ape Cam, an Elephant Cam, and a Polar Bear Cam. I love the Panda Cam, and have had some fun watching the Elephant and Ape Cams but I never seem to watch when the polar bears are visible.

Edinburgh zoo long ago gave up keeping an elephant on the grounds that they just didn't have the room to keep one kindly (good for them). I'm sure a topiary one would do instead - they've had plenty time to grow the bush by now.

Nice summery skies even in Autumn. I've heard that zoo is very good.
Looks like a wonderful trip to San Diego. My son-in-law will be there later this month.
A sky ride would be just the ticket at the end of a visit to the zoo. The elephant topiary is fantastic.
Great shots. I love the San Diego Zoo. Thankfully they have lots of ways to move people that cuts down on the walking quite a bit.
