  2. Great photos! I wonder if that squirrel was inspired by all of those quotes... He's certainly persistent, anyway. Smart to take a nap close to your lunch. That's a real time-saver.

  3. I know the little buggers need to eat, but they do drive my crazy. Maybe it is that they are so industrious, they make me feel lazier...LOL GREAT PHOTOS

  4. Awesome pictures Denise !
He was indeed determined to get his grub, and then sleep it off with a full belly....
I love squirrels, but they are destructive little critters.
    Have a wonderful weekend !

  5. Hi Denise! Thank you so very much for popping in and saying hello.
Gosh, we have so much in common!
My hubby Chris and me were born in Coventry, and both served in the RN. I was so thrilled to see the squirrel and bird photos. I am a (retired) wildlife rehabilitator, my specialization was birds and until 2 yrs ago I ran my own bird rehab centre.
I have put you in my favourites and will be a regular visitor; I hope you have time to visit again soon (not sure that everyone gets my sense of humour!!). There will be a giveaway soon so you arrived at the right time!
Thank you again for your kind comments.
    Jane.

  6. Cute pictures --and even better quotes, Denise. After fighting the squirrels --and trying to keep them out of my bird feeders most of the year, the squirrels have finally moved on to another place... It's so nice not to have them around... BUT--I'm sure they will be back!!!

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  18. Fabulous post, Denise. That little squirrel wasn't about to let anything defeat her. And you had a quotation for every occasion.
I had no idea "Where there's a will, there's a way" was translated from French. Really? Who knew?

  24. You were right it has been a long time. Great captures, I love the squirrel standing up to eat from the feeder and the one of him laying on the hand rail.

I also enjoyed the accolades you gave to the veterans, we can never thank them enough for all they have done.
