Watery Wednesday
While trying to discover what this fish was, I came across a great blog hosted by The Brine Queen, a marine biology student. It has all things to do with the sea and if you're interested in that kind of thing, I'm sure you would find the visit very interesting. You can find her blog if you click here.

Compared with the other, brightly coloured, fish he looks pretty dull. But I like him! He looks like a great candidate for "Creature Comforts" animation. I haven't a clue what he might be called though, Denise. A x
Thank you for sharing! No one loves aquarium life more than me!
What an interesting fish! I wonder if his mouth is always open because he feeds on plankton and is constantly filtering them. I shall have a look at Brine Queen's blog - thank you for the pointer ;-)
I think he likes you!!
What an odd shaped interesting fish. I love aquariums.
I think he's blowing kisses to everyone looking at him!!
In that last photograph, it looks like the fish is trying to talk with you.
Looks like wanted to say something to you ;)
Happy WW!
Thanks for visiting!
That fish kind of scares me. I don't know why. Hehehehehe!
He is so ugly he is cute. Very interesting. He is looking right at the camera for his photo.

Amazing size, I have seen his kinds much smaller. You got lovely shots of the moving fish. I liked them. :)
That's lovely Denise!
Sea Horse
We used to have a salt water fish tank and we had a smaller version of this fish. It is one of the puffers, but I'll be danged if I can remember the name. Anyway it was fun to be reminded. Puts a smile on my face for the evening.
Hi Denise, I've seen a fish similar to the one you posted, in aquariums in past. They are such interesting looking fish... Great photos --and a great Watery Wednesday to you.
Hugs,
Betsy

Funny looking .... and thanks for visiting my blog!
These are fabulous pictures of the fish. I don't know what type it is, but I do know the pictures are wonderful.
You really captured his personality, Denise.
Great shots of the puffer. My granddaughter was fascinated with the New Mexico aquarium.
