Something to make you smile.

My friend sent this to me today. Thanks Kathy! She knows how to bring a smile to my face.

I saw my first moose and calf a few years ago when we were staying at Jackson Lake Lodge in the Grand Teton National Park. You can see those photos if you click right here. What amazing animals. You can click on them to enlarge the pictures for more detail. In the meantime enjoy the video below. The music is lovely too.

  9. I saw this video on another blog that I follow. I think I watched it before we left for Hawaii. I enjoyed watching it a second time :-) I saw my first (and only) moose and baby while visiting New Hampshire a few years back.

  11. The music of Allison Krauss went so well with the playful little ones. They are good to watch, but only from a safe distance. They act the same as our own children do around water, don't they?

  13. What a very special moose video!! delightful! And the music.. lovely Alyson Krause??? I love her singing. Its been quite a while since I've seen a moose and I live in a province that has all sorts of moose signs along roadsides warning motorists of the possibility of a moose encounter.
