Such wonderful poem, and photo as well! Now we've got the summer here. When the sun shows up it's warm and nice, but as soon as the sun hides behind some clouds, it's getting cold.. Especially at nights.. Have a nice time! :)
I don't visit much anymore, don't post much either. I have posted a little more recently, but not much. Time constrants, thanks for visiting, good to hear from you.
Lovely poem with your photo, Denise. I'm glad you stopped by today. I've been hit or miss with blogging and even worse about staying caught up with my friend's pages. I thought summer break would make it easier, but I guess I'm even busier having the kids around and keeping them occupied than I was before. Good to 'visit' with you again!
What a lovely combination you made. Something about the little bird with one foot on the leaf and one on the stem . . . but holding on. This poem has spoken to me many times in life when I had to try hard to hold onto hope. Thanks for the reminder.

Lovely photo and great quote. I've enjoyed my visit through your blog and I'll be back. (Thanks for your lovely comments on mine!)
So nicely framed with the text. This morning I walked out to the car to find that a "hope" left a dropping on my driver's side door.
Nice poem, and cute critter. Her stance is unusual, one foothold perpendicular to the other!
quite apropos

My favourite poetess. Great choice for the picture. I'll think of 'hope' in the morning when I see the birds.
