Watery Wednesday

The Gazebo at Meadowlark attracts a lot of people and birdlife, not only birdlife

but very large fish

at feeding time.

Thank you 2sweetnsaxy for hosting this great meme.

I have a koi fish pond... the fish are 6 years old and can weather our freezing winters and our dry heat! Beautiful pictures.

You did well capturing the fish, Denise. I'm still working on that! I love the hand and arm through the bars with that tidbit of food. :)

Wow, you don't have to use bait or a lure, just drop a butterfly net or scoop them up with your bare hands. Does a person need a fishing license to pick up fish with their bare hands? --I'm just wondering.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I do hope you make it to the Tulip Festival one day!

The first fish looks like a catfish or is it just a dark coy? Nice shots. Fish are hard to photograph. I tried once!
