TODAY'S FLOWERS

Today we found ourselves in Washington DC and signs of Spring were everywhere. The daffodils were in bloom and the sight of them made us feel like that long winter was behind us. Hopefully Mother Nature will send no more snow this year, just lots of sunshine and enough rain to give the farmers a good healthy crop, and for our gardens to look pretty with colorful flowers.

Happy Spring Everyone!

TODAY’S FLOWER’S was created by our good friend Luiz Santilli Jr.

That yellow is a welcome sight. Yesterday's snow is melting here in Denver, but we're sure to get more this spring. Enjoy your blooms and your weather.

Gorgeous Denise.. Our Daffodils are not in bloom yet here... BUT--the Crocuses are---as you know from seeing my blog header.

I have a request if possible... When the cherry blossoms are in bloom in DC--can you go and take some pictures and post them? We went in 2006 --and they are fabulous!!!! Thanks!

Hugs,
Betsy

Hello Denise
Its been really nice to see you recently and to read your comments. I have visited here and you've had some really nice posts recently - sorry I haven't made any comments at the time - I know its rude to not say hello but thats the problem 'time'. That sheep in the previous post is precious, such a funny look on its face.
I can't say it often enough - I love love love Daffodils - they are one of my most favourite flowers - and its going to be months 'til they bloom here:((
Take care
Cathy

All my daffs are already gone. Our temps have already reached 80 on a few days so they don't hang on long! I'll just have to enjoy them from you and others who live in more moderate climes. Thanks for sharing.

Just beautiful daffodils, Denise.
Do you remember when we used to buy our mum's a bunch of daffodils or pick them from a field, and place them in a jam jar for Mother's Day or Spring ?
Thanks for sharing your lovely flowers, and enjoy your time in Washington DC.
