My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 28

Today I am sharing more photos Gregg and I took while we were in San Francisco at the end of last year. We visited the Coit Tower at the top of Telegraph Hill, a famous landmark in the city. Inside we were delighted to find the most amazing murals
Many of these murals depict the struggles of working class Americans and were completed in 1933-34. They are now protected as a national treasure.

You can find more history of the Tower if you go here.

Thank you Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise and Sylvia for hosting My World.

  3. Amazing murals. I think it was stimulus money that hired all these artists in the 1930's - I wish the government would do it again.

  9. That looks very much like a style of murals I saw while visiting Saint Louis a few months ago. Your pics turned out nice. Mine had poor color and was partially obstructed by scaffolding. I wonder if it was done by the same person (or team).
