Camera Critter #100

Congratulations to Misty Dawn on her 100th post. It's a great meme, one I have enjoyed participating in for a long time now, not only for the fun of sharing but for seeing other beautiful critter photos from just about everywhere .

I took no photos of any critters this past week, so I went into my folders and found these two of a sea turtle taken a couple of years ago when on a vacation. If you want to know something about these very interesting animals, you can find that information here.

Camera Critters was created by Misty Dawn. Thank you Misty!

I used to have tiny turtles as pets as a kid. They ate meat and lettuce and liked to float in the water. Still don't know if that was the proper food for a turtle...

I can make out the turtle in the second picture quite well. I like that picture a lot. I couldn't make out his distinguishing features in the first picture. It must be my eyes because no one else has mentioned this!

He's a character. Great shot. Hope he doesn't eat a plastic bag mistaking it for a jelly fish. There are lots of turtles dying this way. We need to keep plastic bags out of our waterways.

Excellent photos Denise, I thought at first glance at the first photo it was a frog or a toad! Wonderful shots of the tortoise or is it a turtle?
Thanks for visiting my Malaysia And Cambodia blog and your good wishes.
Cheers.
