Well, it's been a while, but....

When I woke up this morning I was feeling a bit out of sorts and by mid-morning I felt as weak as a kitten. I've come down with something, nothing too serious but enough to put a hold on me doing any of the meme's this week and probably some of my visiting. I'll play catch up when I feel back to normal.

In the meantime, it's snowing again..........

Aaawww sorry deary !
Your right, get some of the chicken soup down you, and rest.
Don't worry about the snow, there's not much we can do to control it, just stay warm.

Chicken soup is it, Denise. It cures most anything ---plus some TLC from hubby!!!! Take care of yourself. Your weather is telling you to stay INSIDE.

Get well soon.
Hugs,
Betsy

I hope you will soon be back to full strength, Denise (makes you sound like tobacco!!) It's good that it's snowing as you won't be tempted to go out.Keep warm, drink lots and sleep as and when. Did Gregg go to California or was his flight cancelled? I hope so for your sake.

Hello Denise
Thats not good to hear, I hope you are on the road to recovery now. All that outside work over thepast weeks could have taxed you a bit too much, it sounded quite exhausting to me. Stay warm and eat well and get better
Take care
Cathy

Oh no! Get well soon! Hopefully you already are as I am tardy getting around the "neighborhood". Slurp up that chicken soup, it's good stuff.

Please feel better soon, Denise. I am a real proponent of the chicken soup cure. Lots of rest and liquids help, too.

Hi Denise! If I could I would bring over some of the DELICIOUS chicken and dumplings I made from your recipe, the one you posted last month. I was just in the mood for something warm and filling and it fit the bill. I've made chicken and dumplings before but this recipe is so much better. The dumplings turned out lighter and the garlic and basil gives them a wonderful flavor. Thank you so much for posting the recipe. I will make it again.

Feel better soon!

Chicken soup soothes the soul...that and a cup of tea. Winter invites us to embrace it but this year we just want to hibernate from it. Lucky for us we have blogging to keep us busy when we're snowbound. I signed up to follow you. Stop by my place and return the favor if you like what you see. http://www.boomerpie.com/
