Nature Notes and Signs of the Season

A White Breasted Nuthatch viewing the world upside down.

Male Cardinal

A Red-bellied Woodpecker very interested in whatever was down inside that crevice.

Found all these on our walk around Walney Pond last Sunday.

Michelle is the host of Nature Notes and Signs of the Season. Thank you Michelle.

Great pictures of the birds, Denise. I can't wait til the weather cooperates --so that I can get outside and get some bird pictures with the new camera. Right now--we still have slush and MUD.

Beautiful colourful birds. I'm looking forward to hearing the birds chirping and singing, signalling that Spring is on its way. A x

Nice! I envy people that can take a great bird photo. I struggle with it.

You have some wonderful shots of the birds. I also like the ones in the camera critters post so much. I hope the storm doesn't create too many problems for you. Stay safe and warm!
