While in Monterey back in October and on our walk along the coastal path heading towards Lover's Point, we saw a flock of pelicans approaching. Fortunately they were flying pretty low and I was able to take shots of their approach and departure. They soared effortlessly, at least it seemed that way to us down below, and were a beautiful sight to behold.
