Camera Critters

This is a California Ground Squirrel. We found him along our coastal walk while in Monterey a few weeks ago.

His other half came out and told him it was time to stop visiting and come home to look after the kids.

And off they went.

Camera Critters is a wonderful meme created by Misty Dawn.

  5. Well, living in little old devon I didn't know there were such animals as ground squirrels although I have a PHOTO of one! Captured on the coast near San Diego I assumed it was JUST a squirrel. Looks very different to ours, much bigger and stick up ears. Sweet.

  7. Very sweet sequence! They are pretty aren't they? Grey squirrels visit our garden (and eat the bird food) and they are very entertaining.

    This squirrel looks pretty big.

Have seen these views over Atlanta airport many times in the past.
