What are YOU doing?

I had a little fun with this photo. If you saw my post here you might remember me saying as you read further down that I always had my head stuck in the wildflowers, while Gregg was scouting up ahead looking for deer. I had a chat with the little boy who had passed by with his family and he asked "What are YOU doing?" I was knee deep in thicket and looking for bugs to photograph. A short while later Gregg found the first deer. He is indeed getting very good at knowing where they hang out.

  1. Cute Denise.... I thought you were going to emphasize different words in that phrase: WHAT are you doing?; What are YOU doing?; What are you DOING? Ha ha ha ha

Hope the Deer Whisperer see lots of deer. We saw three tonight near our house...
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  2. Speaking of deer, a friend and I went on a nature walk today. We had just started our walk when a deer crossed right in front of us! Can you believe it? Neither of us had removed our lens cover! Neither of us got the shot!

  3. Haahaha Denise..
You really did get that little boy's curiosity up, he just couldn't imagine !
We have a herd of close to twenty five deer, running back and forth in the woods, it's such adelight to see the young ones, still with their spots.
    Cute post !

  4. The deer whisperer! Funny. Bugs are probably more of a sure thing, though. Maybe the little boy secretly wanted to join you. I'd be knee deep in the flowers and bugs, too!

  9. So cheerful! :) It's good you have the sight each your way, so you can find both lovely deer and flowers ;) I've got one deer at my post today :)

  10. Great fun! I'm the deer/bird spotter in this family . . . and Barry takes much better photographs than me so it works out fine.

  11. Congrats to Gregg for a keen eye!

Tell him to be careful for bears though. They sell little silver bells that you can wear to scare away the bears. Then you just follow the deer sign (poop) until you find Bambi again, sitting pretty or eating the grass. Oh, do you know how to tell the difference between deer sign and bear sign? It's easy; bear sign has little silver bells in it.
