TODAY'S FLOWERS

TODAY’S FLOWER’S is a wonderful meme created by Luiz Santilli Jr. and is managed by Luiz, Laerte Pupo, Valkyrien and me. You can find great flowers and also share your own by clicking here. The link opens every Sunday at 2.00 p.m. (GMT).
Last week I met a friend and we drove to Leesburg, a small town not far from where we live. My theme this week shows photos of the gardens we saw while walking up and down some of the side streets.

We were admiring one place and were chatting away when the owner heard us, came out of her house and invited us into her back garden. We were surprised but delighted to be given a tour. I could have taken many more photos but didn't want to be rude. The two photos above show her garden shed and the side of her house. She obviously tended her home with lots of tender loving care.

We left this kind lady, thanking her profusely for showing us her spectacular garden and the following photos are of others we admired on our walk.

Don't you just love Leesburg!
This is the town my son used to live in. He and his wife still own a house in the historic district.
You have certainly captured the essence of what those little gardens are like.
Lovely images!
