Catching a glimpse of a Robin high up in a tree....
as well as hearing the honking of Canada Geese as they flew overhead.....
and another flock soon out of sight.

Beautiful photos. I love the maple leaves, and the geese. We saw geese flying by here last weekend. They must have known the temperature was about to drop 20 degrees!

What a great variety of pictures. The robin in the tree is my favorite. It looks from the light that you are well into Fall.

Autumn colours always my favourite to photograph which is what the lush red of the maple reminds me of.
I never fail to look up when I hear the sound of geese. I love seeing them in formation. It fascinates me that the geese form that perfect "V" formation each year.
Superb photographs. We've had skeins of geese flying over but I haven't yet managed to capture them. Their wild honking is one of my favourite sounds - not musical but touching something deep inside.
