SkyWatch Friday

These were taken at Big Meadows along the Skyline Drive. The meadow was covered with milkweed pods.

Fishing Guy corrected me on my identification, first described by me as a Milkseed pod. Ups! No, it is a Milkweed. Thank you FG.

Craver Vii has also offered another identification, he says it looks like Audrey from The Little Shop of Horrors. Thanks for another good chuckle Craver.
Beautiful blue skies.

Thank you Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise for hosting SkyWatch Friday. You can look other sky photos from all over the world by clicking right here.

the second image is very nice, i liked it a lot. wide open spaces, plenty of room to watch the big sky above.

I've never seen pods like that before. I was having trouble figuring out what they were.

I love the milkweed against the sky. Great shot. Did you see any monarch caterpillars? I guess if you had, you would've mentioned it!

Beautiful Skywatch photos, Denise. It has rained here for 3 days--so it's nice to see the blue skies.

Lovely shots Denise. I particularly like the first one. Does this plant grow tall or did you have to lie down to take the photograph?

I love the clouds! Thanks Denise.

Beautiful sky, I love the white puffy clouds against that blue sky. Seems like we have to wait for fall to see these clouds. Thank you for coming by and leaving a comment, have a great weekend.
