In the last couple of posts I introduced you to Lake Anne Village Center in Reston. These are a few sky photos Gregg and I took while there.
This is a condominium complex, a building that I showed in the other post.
Lots of clouds but with the sun trying to break through, which makes for a very beautiful sky, one that is hard to capture in a simple photograph.
My thanks go to the SkyWatch Friday team who bring this wonderful meme to us each week. If you want to join in you can click here.

Hi Denise,
I was just through Reston last week. My son drove me around for a little tour. So many lovely buildings to see there.
I love the reflection shots! Gregg's doughnut title is perfect.
You two make a good photography team. :)
I forgot, my Sky Watch is on my photoblog.
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Great shots Denise! Looking up at those buildings really make you feel small! And great reflection shots!

I especially like the angle you shot of the building in the first photo. Now if I were only Superwoman and could leap tall buildings with a single bound....
Love your photos.
Are those condos in the million dollar price range? They look expensive.
The reflection are just perfect and those skies are so light and clear with just the sweetest clouds.
I love the holed sky and a great description too. The clouds are a beauty. Have a great weekend Denise!
It is hard to capture it all - but you do very great at it!! ;-]

Hi Denise, great sky and scene shots, not sure I like the look of that tower block.

Have a great SWF!!!
Greetings from NL
Thanks Denise for the info about the Bread and butter pickles. Sounds like Chutney to me. {:)
Beautiful skies. The reflections are amazing.
Sunny :)
Stunning skies. Great shots too.
Looking up at those high condos, something invites me to daydream about hanging outside of one of those apartments, smoking a pipe with cherry tobacco (even though I don't smoke) and listening to jazz on headphones. It's a whole other world, and I'm happy where I'm at, but I'd love to sample some of that.
Then I look at Greg's doughnut hole and it reminds me of a smoke ring... and suddenly, I'm back where I started.
Skies will follow you where ever you are. I send a norwegian sky today.
Have a nice weekend

Must be a great view from the top of the condominium towers. Beautiful skies! I like the doughnut hole.
I LOVE that first one of the lake. The clouds are so clear, and they look a bit formidable.
No condo living for me..no no.Great capture in the angle in which you captured the first!
Love the reflection image in the lake!
Wonderful sky series. Love the perspective on the first and the donut hole is so kewl! Love the reflections too. Beautiful post.
Hugs and blessings,
Denise, I just adore the reflected sky in the lake in the second last shot.
Great shots.
Happy weekend Denise.
Hi Denise,
I agree with Ebie, the photo of the sky with a hole looks very mysterious.
Thanks for the visit. Hope to see you in the Farmer's Market.
Take care.
