SkyWatch Friday # 58

This is the Navajo Nation Power Plant Station near Page, Arizona, taken two years ago on a road trip we took which included this area. We were heading for Antelope Canyon. I will be sharing more photos on my next post.

These are some of the tour trucks that were just coming back from the canyon.

Thank you Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise for hosting SkyWatch Friday. If you want to join in you can click right here.

The sky is so beautiful. The white smokes from the beeps were cool towards the sky. I believe it must have been a great car trip. I look forward to see more pictures:-)

I've seen the smoke from the power station, but I've never actually been there.
Must have been a great trip, traveling all over the west.

It reminds me of a steam locomotive. Big beautiful skies... I hope they don't pollute them.

Makes me feel old. I remember when Navajo station was being built and we used to camp near Glen Canyon before the dam was built.

I like this - kind of starteling incongrous but not ugly, although you'd expect it to be.
