TODAY'S FLOWERS

I wasn't able to take any photos this week but fortunately I had some left over from our visit to Walney Pond last Sunday.

TODAY’S FLOWER’S is a wonderful meme created by Luiz Santilli Jr. and is managed by Luiz, Laerte Pupo, Valkyrien and me. You can find great flowers and also share your own by clicking here. The link opens every Sunday.

There were many beautiful flowers. Some of the flowers are a bit special. I haven't seen the flowers in the pictures 5, 6 and 7 before. Funny to see new flowers.

Hi Denise, good to rummage in the spare ones, they are so pretty it would be a shame not to show them. I wonder what the one with the odd flowers or seeds sprouting from the leave is called. Do you know?

Very interesting series of wildflowers - the berries which are sitting in their own leaf-bowl are great.

Beautiful pictures - I so wish it was cooler here so that things like that had a better opportunity to grow.

Lovely photographs as ever. Sometimes the most intricate designs are the ones that are the shyest. As so many others have said, the shots of the bowl of berries or buds are wonderful - such pretty colours, like a tempting bowl of tiny sweets.
