This is Celia - photo taken by Gully, my father-in-law. Celia took many of the wonderful photos that I have shared of the wedding. The first time we met about two years ago we hit it off right away and since she joined our family when she married Gregg's Dad a little over a year-and-a-half ago, we have become good friends. When she showed me these flower shots we knew of the hydrangeas which were the centerpieces on each table, but the others we had no clue. I said if I put them on my blog then perhaps one of my more knowledgeable blogging flower friends might be able to identify them for us.

Hi Denise, beautiful story and photos to match it. I think the margarita like flower is a gerbera or Transvaal/Barberton daisy. My bridal bouquet consisted of gerberas. They are very decorative. Thanks for showing.
The flowers are lovely, so too is Celia. Its great that you get on well. I am not a flower expert but that unknown flower looks an awful lot like an Australian native called Baksia. There are 170 different species. I don't know the name of this one but I'll ask "Titania" another blogger who knows lots about plants.
Regards your question about Raclette. There isn't really a recipe it is more of a social event. We are making one for friends tomorrow and I'll try to remember to take some pics and do a post on it. Basically you grill the cheese at the table on a Raclette cooker. We put the cheese on top of sliced cooked potato then grill it. Others grill the cheese only, then pour it over the potato.
Your friend looks like a very sweet person. I don't know much about flowers except I think they're pretty. :)
Banksia not Baksia
They are beautiful, whatever they are Denise!
They are lovely flowers, I think the third one down is a Gerbera and the last Golden Rod.
I agree with the others about the names of the flowers, but who cares They were georgeous! and Celia looks like a wonderful lady!
Celia looks so gorgeous.
Beautiful blooms.
The flower after the hydrangea looks like a protea if I'm not mistaken. They're all gorgeous.
To Diane: Ahm, yes, there is a recipe for raclette. Actually two. Actually, there are quite a lot of raclette recipes! And here in Australia we call it a raclette grill, as you are grilling the cheese. And a Swiss friend told me to never ever put the potato into the raclette pan, they stay firmly on your plate and await the pouring of the cheese. Hmmm, I suddenly feel very hungry....
Beautiful flowers! How strange that one is! I've never seen them before.
Denise, a lovely couple and a very beautiful wedding!
The two yellow flowers; Yellow Pincushion Protea, (Leucospermum)
Very interesting and nice flower arrangements.
