TODAY'S FLOWERS

This week's contribution was from a walk near the Old Stone Bridge, Manassas, Virgnia.

TODAY’S FLOWER’S is a fun meme created by Luiz Santilli Jr. and is managed by Luiz, Laerte Pupo, Valkyrien and me. You can find great flowers and also share your own by clicking here. The link opens every Sunday.

I took photos of grasses and a couple of wildflowers.

They are all so delicate, soft and sweet. When I go to the Todays Flower site the picures are not coming up nor the new list.

I do so love wildflowers. I used to collect them, press them in my phone book and make note cards with them.

You did good on the photography end of it and the grass gone to seed is nicer than what I have tried to photograph. We left one area go to see and the grass did that and is about knee high but my photos of it are not what I thought it could be. I like your work a lot better.

Lovely. Wonderful daisy. And the tall purple thing, too - a sage? a salvia? I'm always trying to identify stuff.

I love to see field grasses and the wildflowers that grow among them. My post before Today's Flowers is similar to yours.
Super shots. MB

The grasses here are so tall because it has been so wet. The farmers can't get their hay cut and put up. It does make for lovely fields with the daisies in them like you found here.
Lovely Denise!
