I love the heron's reflection in the water! Nice capture.
Thanks for sharing.
:)
Interesting water shots! Love the gathering of reedy grasses in the water for extra texture and the heron is beautiful!
The last picture is outstanding!
Fantastic post!

I like the post. I thought the one was a beaver in the water, but I guess not.
Love these photos! Perfect for the theme ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

I haven't seen a Beaver damn in ages..this is nice-
I love that first photo Denise. The heron? I didn't see it but I'd say it still is beautiful.
I know what you mean about scanning, but these photos are great! I really love the reflection of the heron in the water! Beautiful!
That heron is amazing. I once found one wounded in a marsh behind an old house of mine in Massachusetts. Long story...anyway, splendid captures. So glad I came by!
Very interesting picture. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Very nice Denise! Heron always make such lovely subjects.
A beaver dam. Love to see that. I like the reflection of the bird.
Lovely reflection in the second photograph.
I can see why Huntley Meadows is one of your favorite spots. How wonderful to see a beaver dam and a great blue heron. Gorgeous images!
We have a lot of bayous around our big river and the beavers nest are many, like the shot of the Blue Heron, very nicely done. Thank you for the email.
It took me a moment but I do see the heron in the first shot. It sure give perspective on how big that beaver dam is. I haven't seen a heron in a little while during my outings. Great birds.
I think these are wonderful pictures for Watery Wednesday.
What a beautiful reflection in the water. I love to watch the waterbirds walk around by the shore or dunk their heads down and bottoms up in the water for food. Such comics. Great shot. This is my very first watery wedesday!
I love the last photo with the reflection in the water
How neat! I love the huge bird! Great shots. I really like your blog.
