Wonderful, Denise! Thanks for sharing. Thanks for your visit too. Awful to lose your house by fire. Yes I was lucky that mine didn't get on fire. Have a great weekend!
This was a clever post and funny. I have the same kinds of problems here where I live. We put out unsalted peanuts in the shell and the blue jays begin to announce to the world that the peanuts are in and here they come. I have watched them take one whole peanut and lay it in the grass and then go find a leaf and carefully cover it up. The squirrels just stop and shell them and eat until they are all gone or stolen.
I really enjoyed your post.
Living in such wonderful places, so different from where I have lived, you might enjoy a look at The Hamlet of Gordon, Ohio. It is how small hamlets used to be and this one still exists.
so enjoy the squirrel capers....he's quite a fellow and now that the jay is onto him who knows what lies ahead ???? have a wonderful weekend and thanks for making me SMILE.
Born English but have lived in America for almost 36 years, now proudly a US Citizen but as the old saying goes and as Gregg occasionally tells me, you can take the girl out of England but you can never take England out of the girl.
