Watery Wednesday

Thank you 2sweetnsaxy of Eyes Mind Heart for hosting Watery Wednesday. You can visit by clicking on the button above to either share your own photos or just enjoy looking at others from around the world.
My WW photos this week were taken of the fountain near the restaurant we visited in Manassas on Sunday. It was a very rainy day. Even the usual ducks and geese weren't around.

  1. "Water that comes in the source
    Serene world
    And that opens a
    Deep gap
    Water that is innocent
    Stream and ends
    In this stream of ...
    Waters that fall from rocks
    In the veil of waterfalls
    Sound of the thunder
    And then sleep quietly

    Wonderful place!
    Great post!

  2. I really like these. The fountain is beautiful but the photos wouldn't have looked the same without the little additions of the branches in the foreground. Excellent! :-)

  6. I love the fountains. Running water is as hypnotic to me as watching a fire in a fireplace. I just can't tear myself away.

    Great shots!

  7. That's wild having the fountain in the middle of a pond like that. I guess it makes perfect sense to put it there, I'm just not used to the concept. I like it though!
