Today's Flowers

Today’s Flowers was created by Luiz Santilli Jr. and is now managed by Luiz, Denise B. Castro and Laerte Pupo. Thank you for all the hard work it must take to bring this great meme to us weekly. Please click on the icon above to see wonderful flowers from all over the world, or join in the fun by posting your own. The link opens every Sunday from 7.00 p.m. (GMT).

These are flowers I found in Hawaii back in December 2008. I'm afraid I don't know their names but am always grateful for any help identifying them.

What beautiful blooms. I'd love to go to Hawaii for the flowers, among many other things.

Those are all so pretty and tropical looking. I only know the last one is Bougainvillea because they also grow here in the desert.

I was about to write exactly what Diane wrote. There are so many flowers here that I don't know the name of. Funny because on the mainland I felt like I knew most of them.

I've never been to Hawaii and can't identify any of the flowers but they are all gorgeous.

I like knowing the names but it's OK too if you don't know. ;-)

When I think of Hawaii I think of big tropical plants but these are dainty and delicate - all beautifully captured!

My Flowers post is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.

Denise, they are all very stunning tropical flowers. The first one I do not know; the second is a Bauhinia or Orchid tree; the third is a Mussaenda. The last one is a Bougainvillea like it is already identified. I do like to know the names of the plants.

That second to the last photo grow abundantly here in Philippines, I'm not just sure what it's called. I'd surely ask around Denise and I'll tell you if I find out.
