Today's Flowers

Today’s Flowers is a great meme and thank you for creating it Luiz. My thanks also to the rest of the managing team, Denise Castro and Laerte Pupo. If you click on the icon above you can see other flowers from around the world, or join in by posting your own. The link opens from Sunday at 7.00 p.m. (GMT).

I'm leaving Germany for a day or so, even though I want to share more photos. That little town has so many interesting things to share but having not being able to participate in Today's Flowers for a while and not seeing too many flowers in the middle of winter over there, I have gone back to our holiday last December. We found an Hibiscus Garden with so many varieties of this beautiful flower. I have only ever come across the white, red and pink varieties. I have no idea what their names are, just that they are Hibiscus.

Maria, thank you and I agree as I did not know there was such a variety of colors. I am glad you enjoyed the photos from Germany.

Aileni, not at all, there is nothing like the crocus, it is a unique and very beautiful flower and the harbinger of warmer weather which makes them very welcome to all.

  23. These flowers brighten up a drab day. So colorful. We always have a few planted in the back yard. One year this one little rabbit loved the flowers. We finally had to put some chicken wire around it, so he couldn't eat anymore of the blooms.
