SkyWatch Friday

Thank you Dot for originally creating SkyWatch and thank you Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise who now run the SkyWatch Team. If you would like to join in and post your own photos, or just want to look at sky pictures from all over the world, you can visit by clicking on the icon above.
These were taken in and around the Washington DC area. Above is part of the Washington Cathedral.

This hard thinking rabbit can be found in one of the sculpture gardens along the mall.

Not sure what the above building is but it is not too far from the museums.

I think many will recognize the Washington Monument.

  5. Barbara, thank you.

Kay, I can't remember which garden he was in but he was across the Mall from the Air and Space Museum.

Pat and Abe, glad you visited DC. I love going there when I have the opportunity. It's only about 45 minutes from our home.

GuyD, I think you would have a great time here. So much to see. By the same token I would love to visit your part of the world one day.

    John, thank you too.

Beautiful, yes that's the effect that rabbit had on me at first. Didn't expect to see him but he has now become a welcome sight on my walks along the Mall. The more I see him the more I appreciate him.

  19. That's the same problem I have with my DC photos. I can never remember what building was what! But you caught the light just right on that frieze whatever building it was on. (Actually it looks very familiar... I may have a shot of the same place.)

  26. I'm not sure what the columned building is, but the gold cast you've captured makes the picture a real work of art.
