Oh, I'm so pleased to have just discovered you! I'm a Brit (from Hampshire)now living in NY with the dog, the cat and the family in tow! We were in D.C for the holidays and loved it there- it really struck us how different it is to NYC (which we love too, but for different reasons)and how much it reminded us of England!
I'll be posting some D.C pics in the next few days but meanwhile wanted to say I really enjoyed yours! Will see you on SkyWatch Friday, too.
I look forward to reading more.
Bella :)
Lovely sky! I enjoy the bottom photos, one of the places I like to visit is cemateries.
what great shots! I love DC it is so photogenic! if that makes any sense!
Lovely shots both Denise - I like the wispy clouds and the 2nd picture is striking. A x
Both pictures are delightful. I hope you'll show more pictures from DC.
I love the wispiness of the cloud in the first photo.

I just love this kind of pictures, show ous a little more than the sky... maybe this is the differens between a men and a women??
from Anne in Norway
I like the bird in the sky, which appears when you enlarge it. Nice detail.
Those clouds look whispy ... and cold. That was affirmed by looking at the landscape below in the second.
That sure is a beautiful statue n the National Cemetery!
The second photo gives the melancholic aspect of life! Never the less they both are great!
Oh, what a lovely cirrus cloud capture... love their wispiness.
Amazing capture from the cemetery. What a gorgeous statue!
Caught that wispy clouds just right.
that feathery clouds on pic 1 is simply delightful.
Very nice photo! Happy Skywatch :O)
Those wisps of cloud are so pretty..
Great capture, I long for the blue skies of summer.
Denise I love your second shot...Bravo!
Very nice pics, the last one with the statue has a great mood to it, I like it.

Love the wispy clouds!
Refreshing to see a blue sky with feathered clouds. It's been so long,
I don't really know what the difference is but we went through South Dakota on the way to Montana and came back home from Montana thru North Dakota. It seemed like it took longer to get through North Dakota than it did to get through South Dakota. And there is almost no towns or houses in North Dakota compared to South Dakota. The places we visited were really neat though.
Thanks for your visit.
It's been a while since I've seen that view - even when in the DC area, I didn't get to the cemetery that often.
Thanks for skywatching with us.
Beautiful, Denise.
Beautiful clouds and a peaceful scene below.
High Ice crystals! Magical and crisp! aloha-
love those wisps in the 1st
Lovely photos for sky watch friday, always interesting to see what pops up on someone else's horizon.
