The Duck Family
We came across this mother duck trying to find a way through the fence to the pond beyond it. She was obviously trying to get her babies away from a heavy traffic area - people I mean - and we stopped for a while to make sure she succeeded getting through the fence. We stayed far enough away as not to crowd her and watched a mother's protective instincts take charge.
No luck on that side of the fence so she turned around and went to the other end.
