When I told my friends at work that my computer was 'down', they wanted to know if I had resorted to biting my nails and was I going through withdrawal. I told them that my house had never been this tidy since before 'computer' days but I was holding up; that probaby before the end of the week they could eat off my kitchen floor, so I was going to invited them all over to dinner to prove it!
It has been a cold blustery day here in Northern Virginia. The leaves have been swirlying like you wouldn't believe, and apparently it is going to be a similar day tomorrow. At this rate the trees are going to be bare. Well, at least it has been sunny and the rain seems to have left the area.
Oh well, gotta get off here. Talk to you later all.

Gregg and I had a great time along this walk. The skies were overcast and it had been raining before we arrived, but for as long as we were outside the weather was kind and we didn't get as much as a sprinkle.
My very soul is wedded to it,
and if I were a bird
I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns.
In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound
But lie so quietly on the ground
Until the wind comes puffing by
And blows them off towards the sky.
And before they are buried in snow,
There comes a festival season
When nature is all aglow."

"My leaves are turning crimson," the giant oak tree said,
And now throughout the forest - list! Hear their voices ring,
Gregg kindly posed so that you can have an idea of size.
