Watery Wednesday

Thank you 2sweetnsaxy of Eyes, Mind, Heart who hosts Watery Wednesday. You can visit other watery photos if you click on the icon below. My contribution this week is of a garden pond guarded by the statue of a lovely little nymph, which I found on the grounds of an old home in Norfolk, Virginia.

  10. Magical little spot. And when I clicked on it to enlarge the photo, I liked it even better - how sweet that she's sipping from a seashell!

  13. Beautiful photo! Not just the statue (lovely patina, I like the detail of the shell she is drinking from, and the way her eyes seem to be looking at you above it - maybe she is ready to drop it and run?) but all the textures of the bricks and plants.
    Thank you for sharing!

  14. Cool photo, the nymph is extra skinny, they need to provide more nymph friendly food.

  17. If I could keep company like that I might not mind being turned to stone. She is a lovely creature.

I wonder how one goes about becoming a satyr?
