SkyWatch Friday

Thank you SkyWatch Team for this wonderful meme. You can reach it by clicking on the icon above.

I envied those people up in the sky, not only for their bravery but also for the knowledge that I could never do what they are doing. I tend to enjoy having my feet firmly planted on terra firma but I will always enjoy seeing people fly.

Nice shots Denise. I have watched paragliders in the alps going up and down and round and round with so many of them up there it was an absolute wonder there were no collisions. I kno it must be fun to be noiselessly soaring, but somehow I like the safety of a motor no matter how loud or smelly.
Hope you are enjoying Christmas.
Thanks for your kind comment, not many realize that I weave the occasional rhyme.

It would take most of my courage to go in a hot air balloon, but a parachute is out of the question! Great shots. Merry Christmas!

My dad was in the Black Watch and the Paratroops. He didn't have to wear his kilt when he dropped in to shoot people up.

Hi Denise,
I feel like you and rather watch than hang up there myself allthough it does look exciting and your shots are lovely. I used to live down in Paignton, Devon myself once upon a time as I married an englishman from there. Alas 12 yrs later we divorced but I shall never forget that beautiful part of the world even though I feel t´hat my roots are firmly imbedded in the finnish soil.
