My World Tuesday - Huntley Meadows, Alexandria, Virginia

Please visit this wonderful meme by clicking on the icon below.

For my first contribution to My World Tuesday, I picked Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria, Virginia. It is a wonderful place. Gregg and I have been coming here for many years, and each time there is always something new to see. This is one of our most favorite things to do at this time of the year.

Our little friend was very hard to see at first but thankfully Gregg has good vision.

Gregg took a picture of this Red-winged Blackbird, there are many.

This isn't exactly to scale but it will give you an idea of the area.

  7. Gorgeous first My World Tuesday! Your photos are just stunning! I can't seem to choose my favorites, as they are all so good. What a lovely place to visit, especially this time of year! Well, I just loved the redwing blackbirds, and the close-ups of the different leaves, and the hollow tree, and....I look forward to your future posts of My World and your regular posts also as always.
