Tree Swallows at Walney Pond

We found these Tree Swallows at Walney Pond, in a nesting box planted in the middle of the pond. Thank you Jenny for identifying them for me. I took several photos before they flew off.

This was another box not too far away. We could just make out a little face inside presumably sitting on a nest.

There were several Robins in the area.

  10. Amazing colours on those swallows Denise, ours over here are much darker on top and not so white underneath.

  11. That's interesting Roy, I wish I took more of an interest in birds when I lived over there.
