These are my mother's parents on their wedding day, Leonard and Elsie May. The information I have about my Nandad was that he was a POW during WWI. Nanny was a mail carrier. They had six children, my Mom, her older sister and her four brothers, but one brother - a twin - died shortly after birth. I never met Nandad but I remember Nanny very well. Occasionally I would stay with her for a few days and slept in a bedroom in the front of her house. At night I liked listening to the sounds the electric sparks made by the old trams going up and down the street.
